The consultancy conducts its business
with a positive regard to environmental issues, where this is
both practical and possible, with the ultimate objective of
zero environmental impact. Our
actions include, but are not necessarily limited to the following:
•
All our consultants work from home and maintain regular contact
with one another, the consultancy’s main office and our
clients, by telephone, fax and email, thus minimising travel
and correspondence by post.
•
Where possible, public transport is used when attending client
meetings.
•
Limits are placed on the printing of documents that are otherwise
held electronically.
•
Where single-sided printing is required, the reverse side of
any non-confidential “scrap” paper is used for printing
draft documents. Confidential documents are shredded prior to
recycling.
•
Where possible, office paper with a high recycled content is
used.
•
Envelopes are re-used, where possible, for internal correspondence.
•
Packaging materials are saved and re-used or recycled.
•
Non-confidential paper, cardboard, catalogues, magazines and
used printer ink cartridges are recycled as a matter of policy.
•
Redundant office equipment is offered to local recycling schemes,
charities or individuals, as appropriate.
•
Fairly traded coffee and tea are provided at our offices and,
where appropriate, we encourage the promotion of fair trade
products in the catering facilities that we advise on, subject
to client approval.
•
We endeavour to source goods and services from suppliers who
hold similar ethical and environmental values and beliefs.
